To celebrate Pokemon's 30th anniversary, a series of "First Partner Illustration Collections" will release throughout 2026, beginning with Series 1 on March 30th.
Series 1 will feature the Starter Pokemon from Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola. Each collection will include a special promo booster pack containing three of nine Illustration Rare promo cards, two booster packs, and a sticker sheet.
Series 2 and 3 will release later in the year featuring the other six generations.
This product is reminiscent of the "First Partner Packs" that released in 2021 for Pokemon's 25th anniversary. Each of the eight generations received a pack containing its three Starter Pokemon as jumbo cards, alongside two booster packs. The cards were reprints of their first appearance in the TCG.
